The Search For Meaning

Recent research the area of positive psychology and well-being
has shown what my mother has known all along…

To enjoy genuine fulfilment in life, you must have
meaningful work and meaningful relationships.

Meaning is possibly THE word of the moment.

And because we are conditioned from an early age to do what
other people want, most of us have found ourselves with little
meaning and are as a result unfulfilled.

Sure, I might be making some money and drive a nice car etc.
But it just doesn’t light my fire…

In my experience, creating meaning first of all starts with
asking the question:

‘What has meaning for me?”

Then strive to build a life/business/relationships around that.

And then face into the inevitable pain that comes with making that
choice. From the pain comes growth – on every level.

But just remember, it is the road less travelled…
