We have versions of teams around us, even if we work alone.
The obvious one is a business or sporting team but we also have families, clubs, societies, networks etc.
Here’s some food for thought on teams:
“Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision. The ability to direct individual accomplishments toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results.”
– Andrew Carnegie , steel magnate and one of the wealthiest people who ever lived
“Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence wins championships.”
Michael Jordan , one of the most successful basketball stars
“If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself”.
– Henry Ford, that car guy
“It is a fact that in the right formation, the lifting power of many wings can achieve twice the distance of any bird flying alone.”
~Author Unknown
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful committed people can change the world. Indeed. It is the only thing that ever has.”
Margaret Mead, respected cultural anthropologist
And for some fun…
“Teamwork is essential – it allows you to blame someone else”
