In the spirit of International Women’s Day (8th March),
I thought it would be appropriate to lead with something like this.
As a father to a young girl (Jane, aged 7 3/4), I look forward to
a world where everyone is rewarded equally for their
performance – regardless of gender.
And I’ve always loved this insight from a
successful woman I’ve long admired:
“I was raised to believe that excellence is the
best deterrent to racism or sexism.
And that’s how I operate my life.”

Striving for excellence in whatever you do is always the best
answer…regardless of whether you’re a man or a woman.
What this week can you put a little extra effort into
to move it an inch closer to excellence?
