“We can’t solve problems by using the same kind of thinking we
used when we created them.”
– Albert Einstein
Someone remarked to me recently that life is a series of problems to
be overcome. And that you keep going until one of the problems
(death) beats you…
Einstein’s quote is one that’s often bandied about but I wonder
if it’s really lived?
We all have problems. Yet we can tackle these problems very differently
depending on:
-Our egos
-Our state of mind
-Our knowledge
So if you’re finding yourself stuck with a problem, consider those 3 areas:
1. Maybe I’m the problem and won’t admit it?
2. Maybe I’m tired, stressed or feel like a failure, and that’s affecting the problem?
3. Maybe I need to learn something new?
Or maybe, if I stopped thinking about the problem and just got on with it,
there would be no problem?
Food for thought.
