Hi,
Here’s your shot of weekly inspiration:
“Even if you are on the right track,
you will get run over if you just sit there.”
– Mark Twain
Complacency – the antithesis of continuous improvement.
It can set in at any level with any person. Just because
you hit one out of the park today doesn’t mean that you
won’t get caught out next week.
Mark Twain’s short but insightful quote reminds us that
‘resting on your laurels’ is a recipe for trouble. Particularly
today, with so much change occurring and so many
new technologies and opportunities arising.
That’s one of the reasons why I always encourage clients to
innovate and continuously improve – if you strive to get
better just by 1% every day, in 100 days you’ll have a pretty
significant improvement.
So, are you just ‘sitting there’, taking what you have for granted?
Or are you looking to continuously improve?
What about your team?
Food for thought…
Have a great week,
Best Regards,
Shane
