“Where there is no vision, the people perish:
but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”

– The Bible

An optimistic vision inspires us.

When the right one exists, it’s amazing how it can
help people gel together to overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles
to create a better business and life.

When we don’t have a vision of a compelling future, it’s incredible how
fear enters the equation – and it shows up as paranoia, doubt, cynicism and self-
interest.

Look at our politicians as an example.

Most seem to be against things – as opposed to standing for a brighter vision for the
future – and spending time articulating it so that people can buy into it emotionally.

So much of politics seems to be about putting down the other.
And going on and on about what’s wrong and what they’re against.

Maybe that’s why someone like Donald Trump is getting traction?

You may not agree with the kind of things he’s saying but he’s clearly
hitting ‘what matters most’ buttons for a lot of people.
And he’s different. (Very different…)

But what about you and your vision?

Have you got one for your career, business and life?  Does it excite you?

How much time do you spend on thinking, talking and inspiring
others around your vision? (your team, your community and your family)

We’re waiting for you to activate.

Because clearly, letting others solve our biggest problems isn’t working.

We need to be putting our own energy into a vision that excites us, means
something  and makes a positive impact on our planet.

And the best starting point is with ourselves.
