If you had told me at the start of this year that my book, The Inner CEO, would get into the Top 10 of the best-seller list my inner voice would have said:
“I like the way you’re thinking, I’m just not sure how.”
On Saturday, I found out it came in at #2 on the official best-seller list for Ireland.
Honestly, this is the impossible achieved. A pleasant bonus on the journey of life. Just to get into the Top 10 would have been amazing.
My colleague, Joseph Jaworski, shared the above quote recently in a program I am facilitating with him and his business partner, Susan Taylor. It’s a seminar in itself and I thought you’d appreciate it.
For me, it resonates strongly because of what has just happened. This book has challenged my levels of commitment in many many ways – and it still is.
But what’s even better than seeing it on the best-seller list though is some of the early feedback coming in which contains the words I was hoping for.
Relatable. Easy to digest. Accessible. Surprisingly profound.
Maybe the most meaningful comment to me was this one:
‘It’s a book full of hope’.
Hope that we can make things better – in our work, our lives and our world.
I have no doubt that inside you there are things waiting to be born.
Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it.
