I think it was John Lennon who said ‘Life is what happens when you’re making other plans.”
I awoke a few days ago to discover our home had been broken into,
every piece of technology stolen and my car gone!
This only shortly after the high of exceeding the target for my play’s
crowd-funding target. 🙂 I had meant to update you but
all of my computers were stolen!
It’s true that it’s what you don’t see coming is what can hurt you.
Isn’t that true for us all?
But the story gets better…
Apart from being a little unsettled may family are okay.
My car has been recovered (thank you Apple for your iphone tracker)
and it’s pretty much okay.
Overall people have been amazingly helpful and good.
And as a reaction, myself and wife decided we were going to have
an amazing week this week and it has been.
I was reminded of a great quote by martial arts legend Bruce Lee:
“To hell with circumstances; I create opportunities.”
