Last week saw 2 interesting things happen with people who are on my mailing list.
First, last week’s email achieved the highest ever open rate in the 15 years I’ve been writing my weekly email.
Second, my True Success Planner, a complimentary gift, had the highest downloads of any planner I’ve ever shared.
I’m not quite sure why these 2 things happened.
Maybe it’s momentum? Perhaps it’s the time of the year? Or possibly it’s an increasing interest in seeking something better?
The Subject Line for last week’s email was ‘An Opportunity To Start Again’.
Maybe the high open rate was down to these words. Who among us doesn’t like the idea of re-invention? Of leaving the ‘old us’ behind in favour of exciting and more fulfilling horizons?
The problem is that maybe without realising it, we end up listening to our inner voice.
“I’m too old”
“It’s too late”
“I tried it before and it didn’t work.”
“I don’t have clarity.”
“I’m afraid.”
I’m sure you can add your own ‘blocker’ to the list.
Starting again or re-invention is available to anyone of any age and at any time.
Key is staying open to possibilities, allowing yourself to dream. But perhaps most importantly to NOT react to your inner voice when it mouths off with unhelpful comments.
Once you ignore your inner voice, what happens next is magic in one way:
Right Action. Which is action that moves you in the direction of possibilities.
My challenge this week is to stay with the highest possibilities in your life.
